Spring is around the corner!  This year it’s style loaded with color.  When we were at Coterie last fall buying the things you see in store now & in the months to come I remember looking around and taking in all the shades around me, noticing that everything was saturated in some beautiful hue and that the range went from pastels to vivid brights.  All-inclusive color!  If you prefer deep shades, pastels, or soft neutrals, you’ll have a bevy of options.  Just look at the Pantone report (click to enlarge):

Notice the range of shades!  Colors like tangerine tango and solar power are surprisingly versatile and pair with true neutrals very well, like sodalite blue and starfish. Go for something new in a shade that’s not your usual.  Making new color combinations is a great way to invigorate your wardrobe, too.  Look below at pics of goodies from around the store today for inspiration:

Right now you can mix these pieces into your winter wardrobe to create a transitional look that feels more like spring even though the days are still chilly.  This time of year we always crave color but need warmth.  Layer them under blazers & cardis or over tights & boots.  Soon enough you can wear them on their own!
