Before we depart for our vacations, one of my “fave” rituals must occur… packing! This ritual is different for many people; there are list makers, just-in-casers, and the devil may care types. I often think of a first time Oscar winner’s acceptance speech when packing, but that’s how I feel… grateful for my pretty things

“Eh hem, I would like to thank Michael Stars, Lilla P., and Three Dot for making the most colorful comfy tee shirts in all the land. I want to thank you, Jack Rogers, & Mystique for keeping me in sandals that transition from beach to dinner. Lastly, cheers to you my dear Portia Clark, your pearls keep me looking like a lady even if I am not necessarily acting like one.”

I pack loving my clothes and daydreaming about what I will be doing in them. Be prepared and be appropriate. Happy vacationing!
