Though we are still savoring the last bits of summer, the inevitable crisp in the air is just around the corner.  This fall the ‘must haves’ of the season have serious staying power—think modern classic.

Happily, many of our favorites from last fall still apply: long cardis and the skinny silhouette; and we’re definitely still mad for plaid.  The boyfriend blazer is as chic as ever.  Sleeves pushed up to the elbow, layered over anything, and we can instantly be edgy or polished.  The sheath dress is the ultimate timeless frock as it effortlessly moves from workday to evening, and these days a gal has a mind to layer over it a long cardi or that boyfriend blazer and make it a weekend staple, too.  These times call for functionality like that.
